ACME® water-cooled chillers are designed to provide years of quiet, efficient, continuous operation. These chillers can be easily customized to meet nearly any industrial or commercial cooling application.

Optional Features
Numerous options are available, including cylinder unloading, hot-gas bypass, suction accumulators and oil separators for low-temperature applications, liquid-filled stainless steel guages, additional starters for remote pumps and fans, and integral tanks and pumps. These chillers can be supplied with several different types of compressors to best meet your application. Watercooled compressor heads and oil coolers are available to meet the demands of extreme applications.

Standard Features
These Chillers carry a rich set of standard features including replaceable core filter/driers, sight glasses, balanced port expansion valves, liquid-line shutoff valves, compressor service valves, gauges and pilot lights.

The chiller control center includes the following standard controls: compressor oil pressure safety, high discharge pressure safety, active pumpdown control, manual lead-lag switching, and return water temperature control. mechanical or PLC controls are available for all units.

Frame - Welded structural steel frame designed to allow easy access to all components. All chillers are painted with ACME® blue paint to provide protection against harsh equipment room conditions.
Condensers - ACME® ASME-coded AHX and CRX shell-and-tube condensers featuring enhanced, high performance condenser tubes to provide optimum heat transfer. Condenserless units can be supplied for use with remote condensers.
Compressors - Semi-hermetic reciprocating, open-drive reciprocating, or semi-hermetic screw compressors utilize proven technology that provides years of reliable service.
Evaporator - ACME® ASME-coded direct expansion type featuring enhanced surface high performance tubes. Selected to maximize chiller performance and provide low pressure drop. Includes 3/4" closed-cell circulation.
